The fact is, road travel comes with a number of advantages. For example, the cost of a distance traveled by charter bus can easily outweigh the cost of all the extra time, hopping, and price needed to support air travel.

Buses have a bad rap. Part of that is probably due to the fact that many of us grew up being transported by a rickety school bus to our local grade school or high school. Third, when you compare the cost of a charter bus round trip to a round trip airfare for the same destination, many times the bus costs half. And you don’t have to use the biggest one in the lot. If your group is smaller, you can travel far more comfortably and still hit the same price point, using a charter mini-bus.
Fourth, planes don’t go exactly where the group needs to get to. You have to find the nearest airport, then rent ground travel, drive some more, and finally arrive at the destination. Why not hire a charter bus for your group, that will literally get you from Point A to Point B without any hopping!

People don’t realize the impact of planes on pollution because it flies high in the sky, but in reality, its engine emits more CO2 than a bus ever will. For an average trip, a charter bus will create 0.18 lbs of carbon dioxide emissions for every mile traveled, whereas an airplane creates 1.10 lbs per mile for the same trip. The stats prove the argument by a difference of more than 500 percent.
